A Family-Friendly Stay at Auberge De JeunesseDuring our recent family vacation at Auberge De Jeunesse, we appreciated the welcoming atmosphere that made our experience enjoyable. As a wildlife conservationist, I often seek environments that embrace community and sustainability, and this hostel, run by a non-profit organization, fit that ethos perfectly. Our family stayed in a comfortable three-bedded room, which was perfect for our needs. Although there weren’t many guests during our visit in mid-January, this allowed us to connect more peacefully with one another. The staff were accommodating and provided us with useful information about local activities. We particularly enjoyed the nearby hiking trails, which offered stunning views and a chance to explore the local flora and fauna with our children. The hostel’s proximity to the Abbaye aux Dames and the beautiful old town made walking excursions easy and enjoyable. While the breakfast was simple and could use some improvement in ingredient quality, it was sufficient to start our day. Auberge De Jeunesse provided a comfortable, family-friendly base for exploration, and I recommend it to families looking for a cozy spot with easy access to nature and culture.
